The Early Years
The first 3 or 4 years of a child's life are little short of miraculous!
Every baby is packed with personality, ability and potential. You can see it shining in their eyes!
Babies come into the world with a completely blank sheet - and parents are largely responsible for what will be drawn on that blank sheet.
As parents, it is our privilege to cherish and nurture these precious new individuals to the best of our ability and help them mature into happy, well-balanced adults.
But the first 3 years are outstanding! Think of all the major milestones your baby achieves! When they are newborn, babies are helplessly dependant in every way - unable to get around or communicate properly. By the age of 3, they can walk, talk and have made sense of much of the world around them!
The reason they can make such astounding progress in such a short time, is because they are blessed with extra gifts and learning ability - but only for a limited period.
The more we can take advantage of these extra-special gifts by helping our babies to use them to the full, the more our little ones will flourish and develop.
During this exceptional phase of their lives, most of us only scratch the tip of the iceberg when it comes to tapping into our babies' extraordinary talents.
Reading is easily within their grasp - if we just present them with the opportunity.
The magic is in your baby!
